(April 09, 2011)Saturday 9th April saw APGAI Ireland hold there first casting clinic at Brookhall trout fishery. 36 anglers turned out for the occasion, varying from total beginners to the more advanced angler wanting to improve in their technique.
Instruction was given by some of Irelands best professional instructors, inc Joe Stitt , Pat Mulholland, Pat Hughes, Arthur Greenwood. The day was a great success, with every one improving their casting ability and asking when the next clinic would be held. The instructors have been booked to hold their second clinic on Saturday 11th June. Booking for this event is now open, it is advisable to book your place as vacancies are filling up fast.
There are places for 30 anglers wanting to improve in their casting technique, and a further 10 places for fly tying instruction.
