Brookhall Fishery Report- Week Ending 14th March 2010
(March 18, 2010)The better weather has seen more anglers out fishing and not in vain. Tommy Warrie from Ballymena had 7 on crunchers fished high in the water with a very slow retrieve.
Jim Bonner also had 7 fish but to klinkhammers. There has been the odd fish taken this week on dries.
Sunday saw the Cranfield Casters hold the final of their winter league and it proved to be an exciting finish. Russell McCartney had 14 fish to take top spot, Thomas McCartney was second with 11 and on the day Robert Graham was 3rd with 6 fish. The overall league winner was Russell McCartney, 2nd was Thomas McCartney and 3rd was Norman McBride. Congratulations to Russell on winning and to all the lads who took part.
