Back home in Suffolk after my weekend away with Casting for Recovery. Brook Hall Fishery is a stunning place run by the amazing Kenny and Catheryn. 13 of us were able to take the time to learn a new skill. I caught 6 fish (landed 4)Thanks David Marley for being my guide! (Who never once mentioned how much money you guys had raised for us and that the all night fishing competition he had come 2nd in was to raise money for Casting for Recovery) Thanks Guys!

I have been going to brookhall for about 2 and a half years and have been finding the staff and anglers very helpful and kind.It is the best fishery around a i caught 29 fish last saturday on small buzzers and dries on a floating line and the others on a sinking line fishing with a slow retrive.

My 9 year old nephew wanted to go fishing for his birthday. He had never been and I knew nothing about fishing. A friend recommended that I take him to Brookhall and I am so glad we went. The staff and anglers there were brilliant. With their help Jordan caught some lovely trout to take home and he had the best birthday ever. He even managed to get a troutmasters badge. His picture appeared in the Trout Fisherman magazine and in one of the reports on this website. Thank you all very much. You have made a little boy very happy and me a very popular Auntie. We will see you all again very soon.

Excellent fishery. Staff very very helpful and other fishermen, as usual, all very curteous. Excellent lake for beginner like my granddaughter Natasha. 5lb 3 oz fish and a troutmaster junior winner on lake. Fish are in tip top condition and fight like demons. All in all 5 stars from me. Brookhall trout fishery (Fly Fishing) can only be described (especially by a loud-mouth like me!) as fisherman's heaven!!. it is a nicely portioned lake ranging from 6ft to 20ft in depth which houses both Freshwater Rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus Mykiss) and sea run Steelhead trout (Anadromous) which are regularly stocked. The lakes fish are well known for their fight as a 2lb fish can easly be mis-judged for an 8lb fish. Success occurs on almost any fly but in my opinion buzzers are hard to beat here. I give this this fishery top marks as it is what i describe as "Man Made Nature" and a credit to its managment!!

I have been a regular visitor to Brookhall for a few years now and I can honestly recommend it as a fantastic small water venue with excellent fishing. The surroundings are stunning and the facilities are excellent. The lodges are clean and the staff are really friendly and helpful.
